The kit replacement procedure can be done with the curve still mounted in the conveyor, this saves time and costs, with easy troubleshooting. Remove the worn guides from the top of the curve; this can be done by inserting a flat screwdriver between the guide and the support base, and with the help of a hammer, leverage all the way round to lift the guide. Install the new guide on the support base. Place the new guide in the appropriate seat, and using a soft hammer hit gently stab its upper surface the guide. Make sure guide is firmly seated in the slot. Now the guides are mounted properly and the conveyor can be reassembled. Don't forget to turn off and lock-out the conveyor power before proceeding with the replacement of the guide, and ensure that the chain ends cannot slip away because of its weight.
